Ryme Minista on the rise

Fast-rising deejay Ryme Minista recently delivered an impressive performance at the Montego Bay Jerk Festival at the Catherine hall Entertainment Centre.

Performing alongside the likes of Popcaan, Romain Virgo and Kalado, Ryme Minista showed why he is being hailed as an artiste to watch by many music industry insiders.

The tough-talking Montegonian had the audience eating out of his hands as he delivered his gritty street anthems One Umbrella, Mad Mad Move, Shoob Out, and Physco Bell.

"The vibes at the Jerk Fest was awesome, I delivered a very good performance and the people showed me a lot of love. As usual, it was pandemonium once I touched the stage," said Ryme Minista.

On Independence Day, Ryme Minista delivered another impressive performance at the Dream Weekend Heatwave Concert in Negril at Waves Beach.

"Heatwave was hot, ask anyone and they will tell you that Ryme Minista done di place. It's like the people never wanted me to leave the stage. Performing on this show opened my eyes to the level of my popularity, because the audience was made up of people from all over the country and foreigners, too. Every song I performed received a big forward," he said.

Ryme Minista is working on a number of new projects. "I have to record a lot of new tracks for the fans, I have some hot, new singles coming out soon. I am not going to ease up, the sky is the limit, Ryme Minista is heading all the way to the top," he said.
