Reggae singer Anthony Cruz impressed 20,000- plus patrons with an explosive performance at Reggae Jam 2014 in Germany.

He performed for over an hour, doing his seminal hits like Half-Way Tree, No Gun inna Dance, Turn It Up, Lose Dem Head and Place Too Bloody. He entertained the crowd with a commanding performance, even deejaying Buju Banton's verse in Place Too Bloody, and the crowd roared its approval.

He got a great response to songs such as Marijuana on the Hard Time rhythm, Block di Road and Only the Father. He delivered a tribute to Bob Marley by singing So Much Trouble in the World.

He did his favourite Garnet Silk, Love Is the Answer."Garnet Silk is my uncle, and I have a cousin called Garnet Silk Jr, so look out for him too," he said before belting out the popular song.

Cruz earned an encore and returned to the stage to do Inna di Dance, the title track from his fifth studio album.

Other artistes on the festival included Dre Island, Bitty McLean, Ganjaman, The Viceroys, Lukie D, George Nooks, Tony Curtis, Protoje, Terry Linen and Duane Stephenson.

Earlier this year, Cruz released his Inna di Dance on his indie label, Shan Shan Music.
