The release party for Black Mattic's 'Bad Gal' single, in Manhattan, New York, was a massive success as non-stop fun and frolic took over jam-packed and energy-filled Club Taj.

Bad Gal was released in early July. It was jointly produced by Black Mattic's New York-based music firm Official Hits Music Group and Cashflow Records, located in Kingston.

Since its release, the track has quickly become a fan favourite enjoying regular spins on several prominent radio stations both locally and internationally.

Hosted by DJ Famous and Brukwine Girls, the event, which was held on August 17, gave fans an opportunity to get up close and personal with the Jamaica-born deejay, who now resides in New York.

Among the list of celebrities present were power 105's DJ Will, Dylan from the reality show 'Making Da Band' and rap mogul P. Diddy. Black Mattic's performance was impressive and it was complemented by the Brukwine Girls' acrobatic dance routine of the single.

Black Mattic, whose real name is Kenich Lee, said he was very happy that the event turned out to be a success, thanking the support received in the same breath.

"The event was excellent. I am very pleased and the support was tremendous, I have to specifically thank those who made the effort to show up," he said. There are plans to shoot a music video in the coming weeks.
