Laughter again at LIME Comedy Café

Zimboo - Contributed

Lyrics and levity are on the local entertainment menu again, as Kathy Grant, Prince Zimboo and Dufton Shepherd join resident hosts Ity and Fancy Cat on the next edition of LIME Comedy Café, happening tonight at South Beach Café in Kingston.

Famous for her role on the Ity and Fancy Cat show as the inflexible country helper 'Miss Jennifer', the talented actress and stand-up comic is the lone female on the line-up, and says "for this show unnu can call me Kathy Grant and company" as she shows off her new 'altered' physical presence, and unveils some brand new material.

Fast rising comedian Dufton Shepherd and the colourful, charismatic and hilarious Prince Zimboo are also bringing their A game as headliners on the show, which also features the dynamic and energetic ensemble 'Colas'. The group comprises four passionate young performers who fuse captivating melodies and distinctive harmonies with potent lyrical artistry, to create a fresh and innovative brand of contemporary performance poetry.

Showtime for LIME Comedy Café is 8:30 p.m. on the dot, with giveaways and interactive fun and games with the hilarious hosts. But gates open at 7 p.m., allowing patrons ample time to enjoy the fine South Beach Café and exciting musical selections from DJ Kevin.

Tickets are $1000 at the gate, with limited pre-sold tickets available for $800. For more information contact Ellis International at 754-6262 or 542-4160.
