Plot to kill Vybz Kartel?
Sirr
has learnt from friends at Yardflex that the lyrical
genius, Vybz Kartel uncover that a group of armed thugs
allegedly from Waterford in Portmore are out to kill
him. The deejay said he heard that men from that area
are making suspicious queries as to where he has his
next show in the U.S. Kartel is now beefing up security
and is not shying away from his shows as he feels he
is obligated to quench the thirsts of his fans.

Beenie
Man has made it clear that he was upset over the comments
of the Twins on their album, 'Stir It Up, Vol. Sicks'.
The Doctor said he will "I was there listening
to them CD, and mi a ded with laugh ova wha dem a
say 'bout me and D'Angel, and den dem come in wid
some eediat ting 'bout 'any icon weh kill a next icon
fi get bullet'. How that drop in? That is a serious
argument, dem a try set me up, mi no like it rasta
and anywhere me see dem, mi a go rush dem wid stone
and bottle. Mi a go page dem wicked, who dem tink
dem is? Dem is comedian, me is a deejay, dem caan
war wid me, mi vex, and anywhere me see dem, mi a

D'Angel
pregnant for Beenie Man
It
was confirmed by Beenie Man that new girlfriend D'Angel
is pregnant. He says she is two months pregnant and
is going through 'morning sickness'. Though D'Angel
is in a cheerful mood she declined to comment on the
pregnancy. Sirr will keep you up-to-date. |

Man and Bounty Killa headline for Sumfest
Trying
to diversify The Red Stripe Sumfest, the promoters
have booked dancehall 'Doctor', Beenie Man and Bounty
Killa to headline the Dancehall night titled, 'Stormfront
- the explosive dancehall night'. The show is slated
for Thursday, July 20, 2006 in Montego Bay Jamaica.
This show should not be missed.

Hype and Beenie Man cool?
At
the end of 2005, Beenie Man announced at two shows that
himself and local/international dancer John Hype is
no longer a team. But recently John Hype reported in
a local newspaper that there is no altercation or difference
between them. A credible souce informed Sirr
that the two were seen at Shocking Vibes sitting together
vibing. Yeah, mi like how dem deal wid it big man ting,
Yuh neva hear seh dem a fight and a bad mouth each other. |

Jamaican
'boy-band' Voisemail released di video for their single
'Gansta Rock'. Jay Will directed it so unnuh know seh
ah high quality video wid great concept and shots. The
video includes dancing by Ding Dong, Sample 6, Craig,
Bita, Boysie and other dancers. Big up to Voisemail

Dancehall
selector Matterhorn drops hot single
Matterhorn
has mastered mixing music and has now showing his deejaying
skills. 'Dutty Wine' is the name of his single on the
Smash rhythm (produced by Supa Hype) that is 'mashing
up' the place right now. |
Blaze'
set to soar
Another
dancer from the John Squad, Blaze' is making final preparations
for his big show in Canada next month. The dancer, famous
for hit dance moves including his self-titled dance
which sweeped the world, says this is his second time
going to Canada and is looking forward to ripping up
the shows. |
Macka
Diamond's Money-O launch party
Money-O,
Macka Diamond has released her album and is to host
a launch party on March 28, 2006 in New York. She will
come back home and host one locally some time in April.
The first Jamiacan-born female to sign an album deal
with Greensleeves worked with some top producers including
Don Corleon, Steelie and Cleevie among others to release
the album, Money-O. |
Buju Banton nominated for two awards
Big
up to Gargamel more popularly known as Buju Banton,
di man nominated for two International Reggae &
World Music Awards: Best DJ/Rapper (Male) and the Haile
Selassie Award for Spiritual Service Through Music.
Even though him not up and down at shows here in Jamaica,

Man and D'Angel engaged
Yeah,
the news is out, 'hot off the press'. Dancehall superstar
Beenie Man and Bounty Killer's ex-girlfriend, D'Angel
are engaged. The two have been the talk-of-the-rown
since their recent collaborations and the signing of
D'Angel to Beenie Man's Mafia House label. So Beenie
win over bounty ex-woman, how dat look? Wah Bounty have
fi seh? Can bounty use this to his advantage? Mi did
ah wonder of a publicity stunt but credible source seh
him really check fi har. Bwoy, it really sticky, mi
ah go gwaan watch and see what dem have in store. |
