Reggae artiste Stevie Face is pleased with the response he received at the recently staged Rebel Salute Festival.

Performing on the first night of the two-day event, which took place last weekend at Grizzly's Plantation Cove in St Ann, he delivered an impressive performance.

Coming on stage right after Sanchez in the wee hours of the morning, the Tell Like It Is singer pulled out all the stops to keep the momentum going.

Delivering songs such as My Prayer, In The Living Years, Thank You For Loving Me, and I Wanna Wake up With You, he stamped his class on the event.

"I'm very happy with the reception that I received from the fans at Rebel Salute. I went on stage with one thing on my mind, to deliver a great performance. Judging from the response the crowd gave me, I did not miss the mark, they showed me a lot of love," he said.

This was his first major performance in Jamaica since he resumed his music career, and Stevie Face is looking forward to more performances on local soil.

"I had a great time performing at Rebel Salute, and I am looking forward to doing more local events this year. It's always a pleasure to perform for my fans anywhere in the world but performing at home is very special to me," said Stevie Face.

Stevie Face is currently working on several projects including an EP which is slated to be released later this year.
