Dreamrich confident in Primary rhythm
Dreamrich Records is stepping out in a big way with its first official project, the Primacy rhythm.
"I would say it's an uptempo party vibe riddim that will make you just want to dance when you hear it. There are songs on there to please everyone. You have the songs for the ladies, the songs (and) for the gennas. So overall it's just a feel good riddim," explained producer Dreamrich.
The project features 11 tracks, featuring top-quality artistes like Teejay, Chronic Law and Prohgres. The Teejay-led track Fake Love has been gaining traction with listeners.
"Based on the phone calls and the messages I've gotten, I'd say the outlook is good. People have been commending me, plus the streams and downloads are doing really well. Radio DJs across the world are also supporting and playing it," Dreamrich said. Official music videos for the tracks are expected to be released in the coming months.
The UK-based Jamaican producer is aiming to break barriers and establish a name for himself in the industry.
"Music has always been a love for me. When I was younger, I used to be around a sound system where I developed the love and passion for the music until I become a sound owner myself," he revealed. "I've got lots of new projects that I'm working on with some of the biggest names in the dancehall and reggae industry. I'm also working on collaborations with some A-list producers."
