Hundreds of patrons made their way to Sabina Park last Saturday for Mega YUSH, featuring multiplatinum-selling R&B singer Ashanti and hip-hop star Ja Rule.

They came out to party and to feast on the performances from the two American acts who were only too happy to thrill their fans. For more than an hour, Ashanti and Ja Rule commanded the stage as they reeled off hits from the '90s straight into the year 2000 and beyond. YUSH's theme of 'no long talking, just musical vibes' kept the disc jocks in check, and Richie Feelings, Coppershot, and Kurt Riley dipped deep into their catalogues and dropped hits that ensured that patrons danced the night away long after the headliners exited centrestage.
