The soulful Ken Boothe heads an impressive list of musical stalwarts set to perform at Timeless, which will be held at Plantation Cove, Priory, St Ann, next Saturday.

Organisers have described Timeless as a presentation of enduring Jamaican music and lyrics. It will also feature the likes of Chalice, Boris Gardiner, The Skool Band and Keisha Patterson.

Chalice, formed 43 years ago in St Mary, made its album debut with Blasted, and then followed up enduring hits such as I Still Love You and Good to Be There.

Ken Boothe and Boris Gardiner, together represent over 120 years of vocal distinction. Gardiner celebrates 63 years in the business, having penned and composed A Thousand Teardrops in 1960, performing it with the Rhythm Aces. His other hits include Oh My Commanding Wife, Jean, This Old House, and I Wanna Wake Up With You.

Boothe, who has cemented its place in Jamaica's music history, will perform songs from his impressive catalogue. Patrons will be treated to hits such as Artibella, Lady With The Starlight, The Train Is Coming and The Girl I Left Behind Me.

Timeless is a presentation of Vonni Koromanti alongside the Coveside Concerts management team. The promoters said the event will be "enriching and fun for the entire family".
