Romi G and Krysis hunt big break

Up-and-coming dancehall artiste King Jhev is currently enjoying a huge buzz with his new single Dolla Bill, which was done in tandem with his Savage Entertainment stablemates Romi G and Krysis.

"Writing and recording this song was easy because all three of us are friends and we're always hanging out and vibing music together. So, recording a song together for us is a very simple and creative process," said King Jhev.

He continued, "We are not a group, all three of us have our solo careers, but because we're such good friends and we're working with the same label, we ended up doing this song together. I don't know how soon we'll do another one, but the fans will be getting more collabs from us in the future."

The song landed in the No. 9 spot on the iTunes Reggae Chart when it was released along with a video in August. Since then, it has been enjoying heavy rotation both locally and overseas.

"We are more than happy with the feedback that we're getting about this single. It's getting a lot of support from DJs in Jamaica, the US, the UK, Africa and Canada. We're tremendously grateful to all the DJs who are playing it and the fans who are streaming it on YouTube, Spotify and other platforms," said Romi G.
