Three schools across the parishes of St Andrew and St Catherine were the benefactors of  generous donations, following Twenty14 Limited's recent completion of its yearly charity initiative.

The company, formerly known as Supreme Team Limited, organisers of the successful Sandz Caribbean Music Festival, donated $200,000 each to Duhaney Park Primary School, Greater Portmore Primary School, and the Nannyville Gardens Early Childhood Institution on Monday and Tuesday.

The company says it is committed to giving back to the communities it serves through various charitable initiatives that support education, youth development, and community well-being.

"Education is the cornerstone of progress, and we believe that by investing in these schools, we are investing in the future of our country," said Andrew Ellis, CEO of Twenty14 Limited.

The donations will go towards the following initiatives:

  • The Student Welfare Programme at the Duhaney Park Primary School which aids in providing meals for students.
  • Paying the school fees of several students in need at the Greater Portmore Primary School.
  • Restoring a leaking roof at the Nannyville Gardens Early Childhood Institution.

This company said Nannyville was a special selection for them this year as Sandz has been hosted several times at Stadium East, which is located in the Nanyville vicinity.

The parents of the students benefiting from this initiative conveyed gratitude to the Twenty14 team and expressed how much this assistance will lessen some of the pressures they have been facing with the reopening of school.
