Four dead in Highway 2000 crash

Eyewitnesses reported that a mini bus with passengers crashed into a small truck laden with hardware materials.

Two unidentified males and two unidentified females have succumbed to injuries received in a motor vehicle accident on the P.J Patterson Highway earlier this morning.

Reports from the Spanish Town Police are that about 11:00 a.m., a Toyota Hiace bus was travelling along the road way when it is alleged that one of the tyres blew out.

The driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle and collided in a motor truck before it overturned several times and crashed into the median.

#StarNews: Passersby have been rushing to assist multiple persons injured in a mini bus crash along Highway 2000 in St Catherine.

Eleven other occupants of the bus were transported to hospital in serious condition.
