Three more COVID deaths

Three more Jamaicans have died as a result of COVID-19, pushing the death tally to 801.

The deceased are: an 88-year-old man from Kingston and St. Andrew, and two women aged 66 from Manchester, and 48 from Portland.

Meanwhile, of the 1,259 samples tested on Thursday, 90 returned positive results,  bringing total confirmed cases to 46,428, with 23,267 of them being active.

The ages of the new cases range from to one year to 91 years old.

In the meantime, 125 more persons have recovered from the virus, increasing that tally  to 22,018.

Some 231 patients are hospitalised, with 11 being moderately ill and 21 critically ill.
