LIVE UPDATES: Hunt for infant trapped under collapsed house

7:00 a.m. EST

Members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) and the Jamaica Fire Brigade (JFB) were informed that a house in Bowden Hill, St Andrew had collapsed due to a landslide. 

9:40 a.m. EST

Members of the police and the JFB are currently at the scene in Bowden Hill, St Andrew.

It is believed that a two-month-old infant is trapped under the rubble. The infant's twin sister was found earlier and transported to hospital for treatment. 

9:42 a.m. EST

In a conversation with the STAR, a neighbour explained she heard a loud explosion and cries for help. 

9:45 a.m. EST

The missing infant has been found. She is unresponsive and is being rushed to hospital for treatment.
