It will be another busy day for Jamaicans, with 11 athletes set to compete in the Xiamen Diamond League in China on Saturday after Thursday's meet in Zurich, Switzerland.

World Championships men's 110 metres hurdles silver medallist Hansle Parchment will lead the way for the Jamaicans and will once again be in a battle with gold medallist Grant Holloway of the United States of America (USA), hoping to improve his season's best of 13.07 seconds.

There will be a crack line-up in the men's 100 metres, where four Jamaicans, led by World Championships semi-finalist Rohan Watson, will take on the USA's Fred Kerley and Christian Coleman, a finalist in the event in Budapest. The other Jamaicans in the field are Yohan Blake, Ackeem Blake and Kishane Thompson.

Jamaica's top-ranked men's quarter-miler this season, Rusheen McDonald, with a season's best of 44.03 seconds, will contest the one-lap event. He will be joined by World Championships semi-finalist Zandrion Barnes, who has a season and personal best of 44.90 seconds. They will go up against USA's Vernon Norwood and Quincy Hall and Grenada's Kirani James.

Fresh off her bronze medal and personal best of 52.81 seconds at the recent World Championships, Rushell Clayton will be among the three Jamaican women contesting the 400 metres hurdles. She will be joined by Andrenette Knight and Janieve Russell, who were both finalists in the event in Budapest.

Candice McLeod, who ran the lead-off leg on Jamaica's silver-winning women's 4x400 metres relay in Budapest, will contest the 400 metres event. She will be up against World Championships gold medallist Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic and bronze medallist Sade Williams of Barbados.
