Wendy Williams was a functioning drug addict

Wendy Williams says her former bosses were willing to ignore her drug addiction because she was "making ratings".

The 54-year-old TV star was presenting on the radio at the height of her cocaine addiction, but Wendy who refers to herself as a "functioning addict" has revealed she escaped punishment from her superiors as she was still attracting a sizeable audience.

She shared: "I was a functioning addict though. I report to work on time, and I'd walk in and all my co-workers, including my bosses, would know, but since I would have my headphones on and walk in the studio and [they] wouldn't fire me because I was making ratings."

Despite this, Wendy is amazed that she was ever able to maintain her job during her addiction.

She admitted her drug-fuelled lifestyle made basics tasks, like waking up in the morning, a real challenge.

She told Entertainment Tonight: "A functioning addict has several alarm clocks, you're organised. It's a miracle I was able to stop."

Pink says it was hard to bring kids on tour

Pink has admitted taking her children on tour with her has been the "hardest thing" she has ever done.

The 'So What' hitmaker decided that she would hit the road with her two kids, daughter Willow, seven, and 18-month-old son Jameson, on her 'Beautiful Trauma World Tour' which kicked off in Phoenix in March.

Pink who has her kids with husband Carey Hart does feel fortunate to be able to travel around with her family, but it has been "tricky" to balance being a pop star with being a mother at the same time.

Appearing on Reese Witherspoon's new TV talk show 'Shine On with Reese', she said: "Going on tour with children is really tricky. It's exhausting. It's the hardest thing I've ever done, but I'm very, very fortunate that I get to bring my kids with me and that I kind of get to integrate them into my life."
