Bull spits out plastic bag

A highland bull spat out a plastic bag he shouldn't have been chewing on after a granny told him off.

Elaine Armstrong was holidaying on the Isle of Mull when she noticed the beastly creature munching on the hazardous item and, in a bid to stop him from choking on the plastic, the 53-year-old grandma politely asked the animal to drop the bag while banging on her car window.

The animal was so startled that he spat out the bag immediately.

Armstrong is quoted by the 'Daily Mail' as saying: "We were so concerned about him. The field was surrounded by barbed wire fencing so we weren't in a position to climb over. I shouted out 'please don't eat that' while banging the side of the van. A few loud bangs startled him enough to spit it out and then walk away. I scared him to life. "

Judge ordered convict's mouth to be taped shut

Franklyn Williams, 32- who was sentenced to 24 years in jail for aggravated robbery, kidnapping and theft, had his mouth gagged shut after refusing to keep his quiet during his trial.

Judge Russo told Franklyn at Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court in Cleveland, Ohio: "I'm going to hear from your lawyers and that means zip it."

Franklyn interjected: "That means you are not letting me tell what's going on. It's not fair", to which the judge replied: "If we have to, I will gag you. That means zip it, right now, does that make sense?

"I'm not being allowed to speak how I need to speak."

This prompted sheriff deputies to use a 15-inch piece of red duct tape and place it over his mouth in the courtroom.

Russo said, "Everybody has the opportunity to make a record with my court reporter but we can't do it at the same time, we can't do it yelling over each other. So my intent today was never to silence Mr Williams. I gave him an opportunity to speak when it was appropriate but more than not he continued to speak over me."
