Ed Sheeran has advised Ruby Rose to ignore the haters.

His advice comes after she quit Twitter following a backlash against her casting as Batwoman.

The 32-year-old actress was recently announced as the first openly gay superhero in a TV series, which she described as a "game changer", but Rose has subsequently decided to delete her account on the microblogging site in response to the onslaught of negativity she's received.

And now the Shape of You hitmaker, who quit Twitter himself last July after receiving negative comments about his cameo in the first episode of season seven of Game Of Thrones, has reached out to defend The Meg actress.

"Bugger what anyone else thinks, you're killing it x (sic)" he wrote.

Rose had previously hailed the significance of the move, admitting she'd been overcome with emotion every time she'd stopped to think about her latest casting.

The 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker was shocked when her four-week-old daughter Kulture, whom she has with her husband Offset, stuck her middle finger up at her just minutes after she was born.

But she's now come to the conclusion that she's just "disrespectful" because she's been doing it "all the time" ever since.

Taking to her Twitter account, the 25-year-old rapper said: "Minutes after my daughter was born she was sticking out her middle finger and she stay doing it now all the time. She soo disrespectful, wonder where she got it from? (sic)"

This isn't the first time Cardi has commented on her little girl's attitude as she recently admitted that she can be quite "spicy" at times, especially when she's hungry.

And, although she's enjoying motherhood, she's struggling with the sleepless nights.

Kevin Hart and Eniko Parrish celebrated their second wedding anniversary with adorable Instagram tributes yesterday.

The 39-year-old actor married Eniko, with whom he has eight-month-old son Kenzo Kash, in August 2016, and to celebrate their second anniversary, they both took to Instagram to share touching posts in honour of their other halves.

Night School actor Hart, who also has Heaven, 13, and Hendrix, 10, with his ex-wife Torrei Hart, posted a black and white professional snap from their wedding day and captioned it: "What's understood doesn't need to be said ... You get me & I get you ... I'm glad we GOT each other!!!! Love u to the moon & back. Happy anniversary @enikohart #Harts (sic)"

Eniko, meanwhile, posted a professionally shot video of the couple's first dance at their big day, featuring Alicia Keys, who provided the music with a soulful rendition of her hit single 'If I Ain't Got You'.

She wrote alongside it: "8.13.16 "Happy Anniversary my love!"
