A woman has claimed she has been having sex with her dead boyfriend's ghost.

The woman insisted the spirit was "definitely" her former partner, and said he made late-night visits to her room.

Calling in to New Zealand radio show The Edge, she said: "I get some good sensations."

She was speaking to hosts Jono Pryor and Sharyn Casey when she revealed her long-term boyfriend tragically passed away, before claiming he "still visits" every so often.

She explained that the paranormal intimacy involved "no kissing", but "some sensations", and insisted it definitely isn't a dream.

She said: "No, I'm definitely sure it's him."

A religious researcher has claimed Moses could have been high when he received the 10 Commandments.

The staggering claims from expert Dr Rick Strassman suggest that the prophet may have been under the influence of dimethyltrptamine (DMT).

Strassman, the clinical associate of psychology at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, told the Daily Star Online: "There are visions and voices which are referred to constantly in the Bible which are extremely similar in the phenomenology of the DMT experience."

However, he was keen to point out that it didn't mean Moses had actively ingested psychedelic drugs.

He explained: "Rather, it is more than likely there was something going in his central nervous system which was involved with the visions and the voices which he experienced, and that is the role where endogenous drugs like DMT come into play."

A pensioner's holiday to Spain was ruined by "too many Spaniards" in the hotel.

Freda Jackson was reduced to tears by the end of her fortnight stay in the Spanish resort of Benidorm in May, and she questioned why the "rude" natives couldn't go elsewhere for their own vacations.

She continued: "To top it off once we got to reception they told us we had been put on the 14th floor; thankfully, we were moved to the second floor, and that it was 42 steps down to the hotel's swimming pool."

Thomas Cook's initial offer of a PS75 holiday voucher as compensation was declined, so they put forward an improved "goodwill gesture" of PS566 to be split between the pair, but they are yet to respond.

The Stoughton Police Department revealed how they were able to safely capture a serpent with the use of three cops and one animal control officer - without harming anyone involved.

They wrote on Facebook: "Officers DeSousa, Gada, and Cowgill along with Animal Control Officer Heal (who responded after we sent out the Bat Signal) safely capture the snake without any harm to the animal, the officers, or the caller. They received no help from the supervisor on duty as he was hiding as far as he possibly could from this incredibly dangerous mission."

The snake was later returned to its rightful owner.

The department based in Stoughton, Massachusetts added: "The owner, who wishes not to be identified and will not face any penalties, is thrilled the snake has been located."
