A Slovakian woman has been arrested after blasting out opera music for 16 years.
The woman known only as Eva has been accused of driving her neighbours crazy with the same four minute aria from Guiseppe Verdi's La Traviata on full volume from morning till night.
Hungarian news site Index.hu reports that the woman initially cranked up the volume to drown out the loud barking from a neighbour's dog. However, it appears she has continued the audio assault for 16 years now, with other residents accusing her of harassment.
One resident said: "The whole street is suffering."
Another referring to a version of the opera starring a famed Spanish opera star - added: "I love Placido Domingo - but not like this."
According to local media, Eva who has been remanded in custody could face up to three years behind bars if she's convicted.
A man called the police after he was chased down by a baby squirrel.
Officers responded to the call for help and arrived to find the small fury animal still chasing the caller in Karlsruhe, Germany.
Posting about the incident on Twitter, police said the man told them: "Help, I'm being pursued by the squirrel."
This led to officers starting their own chase for the baby mammal, which fell asleep once it had been caught.
A police spokeswoman explained that squirrels who have lost their mothers can often latch on to a person as a replacement. She added that it can be "pretty scary", and that the man "was certainly feeling a bit threatened".
