The hacker who helped leak nude photographs of Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton has been sentenced to eight months in prison.

George Garofano, 26, who arranged a phishing scheme with other people to obtain the passwords and usernames of over 240 Apple iCloud accounts, including several celebrities, was ordered to serve the jail term followed by three years of supervised release by US District Judge Victor A. Bolden in Bridgeport, Connecticut on Wednesday.

He was recently released on a $50,000 bond, and has now been ordered to report to prison on October 10.

Bolden ordered Garofano to perform 60 hours of community service while on supervised release.

Earlier this month, Garofano filed documents in his criminal case asking the judge to give him a shorter prison sentence followed by home detention after prosecutors recommended 10 to 16 months behind bars.

The prosecution wrote in a sentencing memo to the court that "He did not engage in this conduct on just one occasion. He engaged in this conduct 240 times over the course of 18 months."

Cardi B wants at least $300,000 for her first performance since giving birth.

The Bodak Yellow hitmaker only welcomed her daughter Kulture, whom she has with her husband Offset, into the world seven weeks ago and, although she wants to focus on motherhood for the time being, she has told promoters that she will consider leaving her little girl for one night only in exchange for a big payout.

A source told TMZ that the 25-year-old rapper wants $300,000 to get back on stage and everything has to be on her terms, but it looks like show organisers are willing to do anything to snap her up as they've been offering $500,000.

However, it's not just the price that needs to be right as the brunette beauty has also said any gigs need to be close to her home so she can go back to her baby.

Gladys Knight has suggested Whitney Houston was being corrupted by Satan before her passing.

The Midnight Train to Georgia soul star has heaped praise on the iconic Houston, who was tragically found dead in her bathtub in 2012.

But she suggested her incredible talent meant the devil "was working on her big time".

Speaking on BBC Radio 2's show Mica Meets Gladys Knight, she said: "To be very honest with you, I had not heard a talent like that. I mean, oh my God, what an awesome gift she had. And because she was so gifted Satan was working her big time. She was my girl. She was beautiful, she was talented. I had people in my family who had gone that way, so it hurt me more to see. I didn't know she was in that deep and that one really got me. That one really, really got me."

Houston was found to have cocaine, marijuana and prescription medication in her system when she accidentally drowned in the bath, and her battle with addiction has been well-documented.
