Lady Gaga finds it "very lonely" being a performer. The 'Pokerface' hitmaker admits it has been tough for her in the spotlight, and has left her feeling insecure and alone.

She said: "It's very lonely being a performer. There's a certain loneliness that I feel, anyway - that I'm the only one that does what I do. So, it feels like no one understands. And the urge to use is because you're searching for a way to quell the pain.

"When I first started to perform around the country doing nightclubs, there was stuff everywhere, but I had already partied when I was younger, so I didn't dabble. I was able to avoid it because I did it when I was a kid."

Taylor Swift says she has found love "throughout all the noise". The Look What You Made Me Do hitmaker who is dating British actor Joe Alwyn - penned her new album about love and defiance.

Speaking to fans at an intimate Taylor Swift Now concert in Chicago, she said: "I think there was a bit of a bait-and-switch that happened with this album when we put out 'Look What You Made Me Do' and we're like, 'Guys, this album is gonna be one thing.' And when the album came out, it's legitimately an album about finding love throughout all the noise. It starts with the noise and how that makes all you feel, and how it makes you feel when people are saying things about you that you feel, like, aren't true and living your life sort of in defiance of that."

Meanwhile, Taylor previously insisted her songwriting has never been "complicated" and has grown increasingly more complex.

She said: "There are definitely moments when it's like this cloud of an idea comes and just lands in front of your face, and you reach up and grab it. A lot of songwriting is things you learn, structure, and cultivating that skill, and knowing how to craft a song. But there are mystical, magical moments, inexplicable moments when an idea that is fully formed just pops into your head."

Janet Jackson was once sent a jar of semen from a crazed fan. The 52-year-old singer the sister of the late legendary Michael Jackson has admitted she has been sent some "crazy" things from her supporters over the years, but the most disturbing thing came from a man who posted her a picture of his erect penis and bodily fluid and told her that he wanted to get her pregnant.

Speaking on Big Boy TV, the brunette beauty was asked what's the "craziest thing a fan has done?" and she replied: "Oh there's been a couple. One sent me a picture of himself with an erection and a jar of semen so he could get me pregnant because I was supposed to have his child."

Janet has 18-month-old son Eissa with her estranged husband, Wissam Al Mana, and she is convinced the tiny tot has saved her from depression.

She explained recently: "The height of happiness is holding my baby son in my arms and hearing him coo, or when I look into his smiling eyes and watch him respond to my tenderness. When I kiss him. When I sing him softly to sleep. During those sacred times, happiness is everywhere.

"Happiness is in gratitude to God. Happiness is saying, 'Thank you, God, for my life, my energy and my capacity to grow in love.' "

The 'Together Again' hitmaker believes her issues with the mood disorder stemmed from her feeling "inferior" as a child, while also coming up against racism and sexism.
