High value placed on virginity
Young people, especially girls, are typically praised for abstaining from sex for as long as possible. Parents breathe a sigh of relief when they hear that their daughters are virgins. In schools, abstinence education is still considered the best way to expose students to sexuality. Religions place a very high value on virgin brides. As a matter of fact, there are still countries that severely punish women if they're not virgins on their wedding night. It is clear that the value of virginity has changed over time, but some of the ideals of virginity still remain.
The expectation of women is still to have few sexual partners and to submit to the greater sexual prowess of their male counterparts. This expectation is compounded by the questions that are asked of women in new relationships, like, "How many sex partners have you even had?"
Honestly, there is no acceptable answer to that question because no matter how small the number is, it will be considered as too much for a prospective partner.
Women are also putting the 'virgin pressure' on themselves because they are paying top dollar to get various procedures done so that they can be 'born-again virgins'. These procedures range from vaginal steaming to actual surgical procedures to tighten up. Of course, there are many products available on the market, including creams and potions, that promise to make a woman's vagina nice and tight.
Personally, I'm not a fan of putting foreign objects and potions into the vagina because it takes very good care of itself, and using some of these products can cause more harm than good. The vagina is a self-cleaning, self-renewing organ, and it does that by keeping a very balanced and delicate environment. So, a woman must be careful whenever she uses anything, no matter what the commercial says.
The best way to take care of the vagina and to keep the muscles flexible and tight is to practise kegel exercises. The kegels are the muscles of the vaginal walls, and they can be activated through contracting and expanding exercises. To identify the kegels, just stop the flow of urine. Then, once you get control of these muscles, you can exercise them as you go about your day. Having control over the kegels can also be a great, sexy trick during lovemaking.
Ultimately, once virginity is lost, you can never get it back, so relax and enjoy the experience and revel in the beauty of your body as it is right now. Have fun, and stay sexy.
