Lil Wayne borrows loan to settle US$2 million lawsuit

November 25, 2015

Rapper Lil Wayne has given his private skate park as collateral for a US$1.5 million loan, which will go towards settling a US$2 million lawsuit.

The rapper's passion for skating is widely known. Thus it came as no surprise when he build a private skate park at his home in Miami Beach Florida.

Weezy has often been described as one of the most successful rappers in the Hip-hop, but his loan comes as no surprise.

Just last month, he was slapped with a US$2 million lawsuit by Signature Group, a private jet-leasing company.

The company alleged that Weezy had over 2 years of missed payments for a private jet he leased from them.

When Weezy's mansion was raided, US media reported that they also took artwork worth some US$30 million.

Lil Wayne, 33, has been having his fair share of drama in recent times.

Last weekend a man who fired shots at the rapper's tour bus in April was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
