Fyah Wariyah ready for the music business

Upcoming artiste, Fyah Wariyah is declaring his readiness to become a mainstream dancehall artiste after a well-received performance at an event called Trip to Mexico held last weekend.

"A nuh nutten too new because mi used to the crowd, and mi used to the stage, too. Mi get a good vibes from the crowd. The people dem love the vibes," he explained.

Getting strong 'forwards' when he performed songs like Who Jah Bless and Corrupted Politician, Fyah Wariyah, whose given name is Dwayne Thomas, said this has given him the drive to push on in his musical journey.

"Mi feel great cause to how far man a come from, mi neva know say mi woulda deh pon all certain show. Me, as a young artiste, nobody neva too know my thing," he told THE STAR.

With promotional help from Promo King, the artiste, who is signed to Skeng Legacy Records, said he will be doing the ground work to ensure that he receives regular airplay to reach a wider audience.

"Wi a hit the streets, give out CD, and a do promotion pon social media. We want get radio-station play and some more street promotion, like go some different parishes and communities guh do wi thing," he said.

With his musical influences coming from artiste, such as Sizzla, Chronixx, Junior Gong and Protege, he said he would love to collaborate with anyone of them.
