Safiyah says ‘Merry Christmas’

Magnum Queen 2018 Safiyah has released a track titled ‘ Merry Christmas’ with an accompanying music video.

The video was shot at Lindsay Crescent in Kingston and directed by Antoine Chung. It is set to be released later this month.

Merry Christmas, produced by Jovi Di Pree Music/Safiyah Music, has been doing exceptionally well and has been gaining steam in the streets since its release.

“Ever since the release of this song, the feedback has been great thus far. Everyone is loving the song. It’s being played consistently in a lot of huge parties, like Weddy Weddy and more. The reception is great,” said Safiyah.

Safiyah is currently working on her eight-track album TEMPERATURE. She will also be releasing a game-changing single for the new year called Irreplaceable, produced by Roael Entertainment.

“I feel really good for the support I have been getting from these producers because as a young artiste, you have to build a fan base, and mine is growing daily. Music is a growing and learning process, and I am ready for the growth and the lessons,” said Safiyah.

Grebel Music releases ‘One General’

Known within the industry for producing quality music, Grebel Music is at it again with the ‘One General’ rhythm.

Songs featured on the rhythm include Battlefield (Owen Knibbs, featuring Shinehead), Living My Life (Aterny), and Rasta Concept (Edgar Rebel).

“It’s an honour to have two legendary artistes on this project, Owen Knibbs and Shinehead. Working with these two artistes was magical. As for Owen Knibbs, who hasn’t sung in 32 years after his first and last release in 1987, it was a song titled Juggler, which he didn’t know was released until 2016 when Jamwax Records out of France found him on Facebook and then re-pressed the single and released it worldwide,” said Grebel Music.

Even with this project in its early stages, Grebel Music has new projects in the pipeline, such as the ‘Universal’ rhythm.

“Each artiste on the rhythm brought their own vibes to the rhythm. The rhythm has a song for every fan. Fans all over the world are already sharing their favourite song all over social media, and a lot of DJs in South America already have the project in their juggling,” said Knibbs.
