Iyara promotes ‘Rich and Wealthy’

'Rich and Wealthy' is the name of dancehall artiste Iyara's latest single, and the visuals for the new track depicts just that.

Released last month, the song, which was produced by Peterkey Music Production, has been making rounds on social media, and according to the entertainer, he is confident that it will become the next big hit.

"The message in this song is not about boasting, but I am hoping that it will inspire people to be ambitious and be go-getters. Once you work hard, I believe you should live your best life and just have fun," he said.

The music video, which has garnered thousands of views since its release, features a private jet, high-end vehicles and a breathtaking mansion complimented with a string of gorgeous video vixens.

"There are persons who may say that money was spent unnecessarily, but this is not the case. We have to break into the habit of making quality productions, on a budget of course. Dancehall is a genre that is making waves globally, which means we are competing with the world's best music forms. In order to reach the top, we have to make videos that will captivate the audience worldwide. We have to remember that we are competing with the Beyonces and Jay-Zs," Peterkey said.

According to Iyara, the track gave him an opportunity to show off his versatility, as the lyrics and image are somewhat different from what his fans are accustomed to.

"I am still a hardcore artiste, but a lot of persons are saying that they are liking this image because I seemed more approachable. Without a doubt, I know that this new label and I are the perfect collaborators. Persons can be on the look out for more hits, as Rich and Wealthy is definitely on the path to becoming a timeless track," he said.
