Two killed, two injured in Clarendon shootings
The Clarendon police have launched investigations into two separate shooting incidents in the parish, which left two persons dead and two others nursing gunshot wounds.
In the first incident which happened about 9:30 p.m. last night, 18-year-old Shawn Sewell was shot and injured while standing at his gate in the Top Hill community in the parish.
He was taken to the Percy Junor Hospital by the police, but was later transferred to the Mandeville Regional Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
An hour later gunmen struck in the Inverness community, killing one man and leaving two others injured. It is reported that men armed with high powered weapons opened fire on a group of men playing dominoes. Three men were hit.
The body of 22-year-old Jamay Marsh, otherwise called Fire, was found this morning in bushes with what appeared to be several gunshot wounds. It is believed that he lived in Farm district in the parish.
The other injured men have been admitted to hospital in stable condition.
