Wife of businessman Corey Todd shot and injured

The wife of businessman Corey Todd was shot and injured yesterday evening.

It is said that she was driving along Molynes Road, St Andrew, in the vicinity of Ken Hill Drive sometime after 5 p.m., when men travelling on motorcycles rode up and opened fire.

It is understood that the vehicle later crashed into a hair salon.

The woman received multiple gunshot wounds.

The police's Corporate Communi-cations Unit confirmed the incident, and added that the woman was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Up to news time, she was still being treated.
