Two die in Trelawny crash
Two persons died in a motor vehicle accident in the vicinity of Coral Spring in Trelawny yesterday.
They are Marvin Oswald Douglas, an ex-policeman of Florence Hall in Trelawny, and Constantine James, of Wellington Street in Falmouth.
Police reports are that at 4:30 p.m., a gas tanker driven by Osrick Bogle of Ridge district, Cave P.O. in Westmoreland was parked on the soft shoulder.
He told the police that he pulled off the road to check on a sound he heard on the truck. He was on the phone when he heard a bang in the right rear of the truck.
He came out and saw a car, with two men aboard, had smashed into the rear of the truck.
The police told The WEEKEND STAR that Douglas died on the spot and James was pronounced dead at the Falmouth Hospital.
