Cops find illegal gun and ammunition in unfinished building

Police in St Catherine discovered one magazine containing seven 9mm cartridges, in an unfinished building on Burke Road, Old Harbour in the parish on Tuesday.

Police reports are that about 7:30 p.m., lawmen were on duty in the area when the building was searched, and the magazine containing ammunition was found.

No arrest has been made in connection with the seizure.
