Four more COVID deaths, 112 recoveries, 41 new cases
Four more Jamaicans have died from COVID-19, increacing the death tally to 302.
The deceased are:
A 72 year old male from St James
A 56 year old male from St James
An 83 year old male from Westmoreland
An 82 year old female from St James
All four deaths were previously under investigation.
Meanwhile, of the 354 samples tested on Tuesday, 41 returned positive results for a total of 12,793 confirmed cases, with 2,018 of them being active.
Of the new cases, 19 are males and 22 are females, with ages ranging from 9 to 90 years.
In the meantime, there were 112 more recoveries, increasing the total to 10,319.
Some 89 persons are in hospital with six being moderately and eight critically ill.
According to the Ministry of Health, 65 persons are in government quarantine, while 28,478 are quarantined at home.
