Prime Minister and Opposition Leader get first COVID jab

Prime Minister Andrew Holness and his wife Juliet, the Member of Parliament for St Andrew East Rural, this afternoon received their first of two doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

They were inoculated at the Good Samaritan Inn in Kingston moments after Opposition Leader Mark Golding received his first shot.

On Friday Health Minister Christopher Tufton took his first jab and encouraged Jamaicans to to get vaccinated.
