Woman wins $5-million in scratch off game

A woman became an instant millionaire after playing Supreme Scratchaz, the new instant scratch card game from Supreme Ventures.

J. McDermoth last Thursday became the game's first instant millionaire, after purchasing a $500 ticket in Highgate, St Mary.

"I am always buying Supreme Ventures games so when the Scratchaz came out I started buying those tickets. I hoped to win some money but didn't expect to win $5 million. I am overjoyed," the woman said.

Supreme Scratchaz, which was launched in March 13, have a selection of five different instant win scratch games ranging from $100-$500 per card. Persons have the chance to win up to $5 million dollars instantly.

Xesus Johnston, CEO Prime Sports Jamaica, a member of the Supreme Ventures group, said players of the new game not only have the chance to win often but they can win right away.

"There are many more millions to be won and we look forward to celebrating with even more Jamaicans who will see their lives change in an instant," Johnston said.
