‘Bus Head’ member killed in police shootout

Two men were shot and killed a short while ago during a police operation along the North-South Highway near the Linstead exit in St Catherine.

Dead is Odane Christopher, an alleged high-ranking member of the ‘Bus Head Gang’ which operates in Montego Bay St James, and another unidentified man.

According to the police, a targeted operation led them to intercept the vehicle the two men were traveling in.

Christopher and the unidentified man then alighted from the vehicle and opened fire.

The police returned fire killing both men.

One Intratec TEC-9 submachine gun and a 9mm pistol were seized.
