Bag with ammunition found on roadside in St Andrew

The St Andrew Central police say that several rounds of ammunition was recovered during a snap raid on Cassia Park Road, St Andrew on Wednesday.

The Half Way Tree police report that about 8:20 a.m., the operation was conducted in which sixteen 9mm rounds of ammunition were discovered at the side of the road in a bag.

No arrest was made in relation to the seizure.

The investigation continues.
