Human torso found near gully in St Andrew

The St Andrew South police are trying to ascertained the identity of a human torso found in the division on Monday.

About 9:30 p.m. passersby stumbled upon a portion of a corpse, according to reports.

The police were summoned and upon arrival the torso was found near a gully along Chesterfield Drive.

The scene was processed and the body removed.

The Hunts Bay Criminal Investigation Branch is conducting a probe in the matter.
