'Marlon Sniper' shot and killed in Kingston

The Western Kingston police are investigating the murder of 47-year-old Marlon Dyer otherwise called "Marlon Sniper" in the division yesterday.

Dyer is of Upper Oxford Street Kingston 14.

Reports are that about 3:30p.m., Dyer was standing along the roadway in Hannah Town in the parish.

He was then pounced upon by unknown assailant(s) who allegedly fired shots hitting him repeatedly.

Dyer was then assisted to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Denham Town Criminal Investigation Branch is conducting a probe in the matter.
