Alleged killer of Kelsey Ferrigon shot and killed by police in Clarendon
The man said to have killed Kelsey Ferrigon has been fatally shot by the police in Clarendon a short while ago.
Dead is Giovanni 'Coolie Man' Ellis.
Ellis had been on the run since he was named a person of interest in the death of nine-year-old Ferrigon, who was raped and murdered.
Her body was later found stuffed upside down inside a barrel at her home on Jobs Lane in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
Ellis was out on bail on a charge of cruelty to a child when the incident occurred.
He had been on the run since the incident, which has left the community in turmoil and the nation outraged.
The Government had made an offer of a reward of $2,000,000 for his capture.
Investigations are ongoing.
