JDF soldier killed in Camp Road crash

A motor vehicle accident that happened along Camp Road in Kingston this morning, has claimed the life of a member of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF).

He has been identified as 23-year-old Everald Hendricks of Breadnut Walk, Ginger Hill in St Elizabeth.

The police say he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a fence.

The incident occurred about 12:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Bert's Auto Parts.

Hendricks, who was a member of the Maritime, Air and Cyber Command (MACC), reportedly died at hospital, according to colleagues who, via social media, expressed condolence to his family.
