Vendor 'Baffu' shot and killed in his home

The Ocho Rios Criminal Investigations Branch in St Ann is looking for those responsible for the murder of a 23-year-old street vendor in the parish on Tuesday night.

He has been identified as Barrington Watson, otherwise called 'Baffu', of Buckfield, Ocho Rios.

Reports are that about 10:30 p.m., Watson was at home when he was pounced upon by an unknown assailant who shot and injured him.

He was assisted to the St Ann's Bay Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The police have not established a motive for the killing.
