Five Haitians under investigation by PICA

Five Haitian nationals who were arrested are now under investigation by The Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency and the St Catherine police.

About 6:20 a.m., the police reportedly conducted an operation along Featherbed Lane in Spanish Town, St Catherine, during which a house was searched.

The police say three women and two men were held during the operation.

The Haitians, who are currently being processed, are suspected to be in Jamaica illegally.
