Police detain five Haitians in Manchester

Five Haitians have been in custody of the Manchester police since Sunday on suspicion of illegal entry.

The police report that about 5:40 a.m. a team conducted an operation in Spring Ground, Christiana, during which a dwelling was searched.

The five individuals were found at the premises.

They were taken into custody.

The police say the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) has been engaged in the investigation involving the Haitians.
