DENBIGH and Gaynstead High will be seeking the double when the finals of the Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association Rural and Urban schoolgirl netball competition are played today inside the GC Foster College Indoor court.

Both teams had good wins in junior and senior semi-finals on Tuesday.

In rural junior action Denbigh had an easy 24-9 over St. Thomas Technical and will meet Holmwood in the final.

Holmwood advanced after they stopped Manchester High 25-19.

Denbigh, who easily defeated Knox College 41-23 will play Manchester High in the senior final. Manchester advanced after a close 39-37 win over defending champions Holmwood.

Urban junior champions Gaynstead face many-time winners The Queen's School. The Queen's got by Camperdown 26-17 to advance.

High-riding Excelsior will take on Gaynstead in the other game. The Dalton Hinds-coached Gaynstead will be seeking to create history as they will be going for their first double.

Undoubtedly, the most-improved school in netball, following their win at the junior level a year ago, they are favourites to go all the way again.
