EUGENE, Oregon

National 400m and mixed relay coach Bert Cameron has unveiled the team that will compete in the Mixed 4x400m relay at the World Athletics Championships on Friday.

The team will comprise Demish Gaye, Roneisha McGregor, Karayme Bartley, and Tiffany James. Cameron said that he is pleased with the strength of the squad.

"It took us a while to put it together, but I think coach Paul Francis and I came up with a good fit and team that is going out there tomorrow to qualify for the final." Cameron said.

Jamaica took silver in the event in 2019 in Doha.

Jamaica will be in heat two which starts at 1:56 p.m Jamaica time. Should Jamaica qualify for the final, it will start at 9:50 p.m.
