I don't want to date another woman

January 14, 2016

Dear Pastor,

I got married to my high-school girlfriend after being together for almost three years.

Even though I had relationships with other girls, I decided to tie the knot with this young woman. I invested in her and we have two children. However, I caught her with two of my male customers.

Pastor, things took a nose dive for the worse. I was even stabbed while trying to investigate a fight that she was involved in with my sister and her aunt. After receiving death threats from them, she took the children and moved out.

My wounds will heal. My father is dead, so I would like your advice and prayer if possible. I have not been dating anyone. I don't want to get involved with any of these girls. It seems to be a death trap.

Dear Lovable,

You said you caught your wife with two different men. You did not explain what you meant by that. Sometimes some men see their wives talking to men and they accuse their wives of having affaires. They don't want to see their wives talking to any man at all.

Anyway, the relationship with your wife is all mixed up, and what you probably should do is make an appointment to see a family counsellor.

Your wife will have the opportunity to tell her side of the story. You didn't say who is threatening you. I am just wondering if you are a jealous man. If you don't trust your woman you will never have a happy relationship.

Perhaps after counselling, you and your wife may wish to reconcile. I will remember both of you in prayer.
