Triple murder in Clarendon

Police use yellow tape to block off the entrance to the Kingston Mall in downtown Kingston during their investigation into a murder-suicide in 2016. A security guard had reportedly shot and killed his girlfriend at the scene before killing himself.

The community of New Bowens in Clarendon remains tense following a triple murder in the community last night.

Reports are that four persons were at a shop in the community when armed men wearing masks approached them and opened fire.

Three were hit, and one escaped injury.

The deceased have been identified as Christopher Watson, 19; Dermot Donaldson, 29; and Eddie Richards, 39.

There has been a flare-up of violence in that community over the past week. Two other persons were killed earlier this week and one shot and injured yesterday.
