Marca T seeks success with 'Island Paradise'

Marca T, a reggae act from Bermuda, is making strides after his hit single, Island Paradise, was released two years ago.

He has a deep passion for reggae music and loves Jamaica.

"Right now, I just recorded a song titled I Stand on Step Forward Music label. It is a conscious tune to be released next month," Marca T told THE STAR.

He said that Bermuda's most popular reggae act is Collie Buddz and he is getting recognition for his work also.

"Bermuda is a sweet island with a big Jamaican population. Collie Buddz is the only other artiste that is recognised from Bermuda. Everybody like Collie Budzz's music. Now, I am getting recognition as well," he said.

After about 20 years in the music business, Marca T is hoping for a big break. He travelled to Jamaica two years ago and performed in Drewsland in St Andrew and received much forward for the Island Paradise song.
