With sound bites from the various 'Stir it Up' volumes added to numerous dancehall mixtapes and fans constantly asking when Twin of Twins will release their next project, Patrick 'Curly Lox' Gaynor says the project has always been a hit.

"Stir It Up a go viral before viral, and it deh pon every mixtape, and dat never miss yet. The reaction to Stir It Up has never been inconsistent," said Gaynor, who is one half of the duo.

"I can't go nowhere and walk in peace, I get genuine responses. Mi see people drop dem guard fi say dem can't stop listen this, and this encourage them to such a level, and dem like the sacrifice. Those are the things that mek me know personally that this is very important to the culture," he explained.

Having recently released another instalment, titled Mawga Dog, which he says is the first of two teasers in the lead-up to Volume 12, Gaynor boldly declared Stir It Up one of the only authentic things still reminding Jamaicans about who they are. The entertainer noted that nowadays, many persons are caught up in social media.

"Everybody a do everything fi get some kind of likes and shares, nobody nuh care bout nobody again. It is not about the craft (music) anymore, it's about acting and politics," he told THE STAR.

However, with the realness of the series, which imitates life, he said that some fans misinterpret the series, and some persons who the characters based off of are the targets of abuse.

"This as a audio movie. I don't know Big Wayne as no badmind person. Mi nuh know how people fi see di yute and a say him badmind. It neva happen fi real, is a story. I wrote this story," Gaynor said.

"This is a fictitious audio movie which is based on real life. Big Wayne nuh kill nobody fi true, or else dem woulda lock him up," he added.

Until the release of Stir It Up Volume 12, Gaynor is encouraging fans to refresh their memories by listening to Volume 11 so that they can be up to date with the drama that will continue in Mawga Dog, which features new characters such as Rygin King and Bobby Socks (Ankle Socks' father), who is incarcerated.

"The saga continue inna one wicked piece a way, and people a go be so surprised fi see weh it a head," he said.
