Nuh Rush Records and Queen Ifrica team up
In 2021, there have been several stories about women and children being abused, with some feeling that there is little, if any, real recourse for victims.
Against this background, Nuh Rush Records has teamed up with reggae artiste Queen Ifrica for the emotional track Predator's Paradise, which was released on October 22.
Producer of the track, Junior Brown, otherwise known as I Am Nuh Rush, is pleased with the project and what it represents for reggae/dancehall music.
"It has been causing an uproar in the entertainment industry since its release. Working on this track with Queen Ifrica was super easy, she loved the idea and the plans we had around the project. Big shout out to Tony Rebel as well who always played a great role getting myself and the team connected with the Queen," said I Am Nuh Rush.
The producer grew up in the tough inner-city area of Homestead, in Spanish Town, St Catherine, which influenced him in a positive way, as he rose to be progressive rather than clinging to the negatives.
"Growing up in the ghetto was a 24-hour reality check and so as a producer, it affects the music we produced. But for me, it's always more joy to produce real reggae music," he said.
I Am Nuh Rush knows the importance of team work, and expressed gratitude for the artistes, production team, marketing team and distribution networks that played their part in the success of his projects.
He is also promoting the Redemption Project rhythm which also features Queen Ifrica, along with Busy Signal, Lutan Fyah and others.
